2019 Neighborhood Parade
Saturday, June 15, 2019 - Roosevelt Neighborhood and Potluck
The Roosevelt Neighborhood Parade is our last parade of the season and includes a stop at Bartell Drug Store for a short performance. It's Mr. Brown's way of saying thank you to the neighborhood for letting us practice throughout the fall and spring. Students arrive at school in the morning for an all band photograph before marching through the neighborhood. After the band is dismissed a potluck is held in the Commons and surrounding courtyard. We encourage incoming Freshman to join us by walking behind the band and sharing in our potluck.
Student report time is 11:30 am. At 12:15 pm Rowland Studios will take our traditional group photograph. The parade will begin at 1:00 pm. with Seattle Police escorting. Motorists can expect a rolling slowdown as the parade makes its way along streets in the Roosevelt district.
