Fall 2022 Marching Band Practices
​Marching Band practice is held after school at Roosevelt High School from mid-September through the end of October, on the dates/times listed below. More practices to be listed as soon as we know field availability.

Practice Dates/Times (at RHS field): 
  • Thurs 9/15 from 6:30-8pm
  • Tues 9/20 from 6:30-8pm
  • Thurs 9/22 from 6:30-8pm
  • Fri 9/23 from 4-5:30pm​
  • Tues 9/27 from 6:30-8pm
  • ​Thurs 9/29 from 6:30-8pm

​Fall 2022 Marching Band Camp 
Friday, September 9th - Sunday, September 11th, 2022
Pack Forest Conference Center, Eatonville, WA

Students will take a chartered bus to and from Roosevelt H.S. and the Pack Forest Conference Center in Eatonville Washington where they will learn the music performed by marching band, how to march and come together as the Roosevelt Marching Band. Activities are led by the Band Director and student leaders. This event is great fun for the students and a wonderful start to the school year.

Details: 
  • All band students, including and especially incoming freshman, are encouraged to attend 
  • We will teach you the marching band music and the ins and outs of marching 
  • We provide four meals (3 on Saturday & breakfast on Sunday) and snacks
  • The camp provides all bedding (sheets, blankets, pillow, and a towel) 
  • We provide transportation by charter bus to and from Roosevelt H.S. and camp 
  • Cost is $250 / student and covers the costs (transportation, food, lodging, etc) and a band sweatshirt 
  • Students should eat dinner prior to getting on the bus on Friday – arrive by 5:00 pm, depart at 6:00 pm.
  • Upon arrival at camp, room assignments will be distributed, and camp rules discussed

Forms are due Sept 6th. Ways to submit them:
  • Send/Deliver to Tracy Hillstrom | 1227 N 50th ST |Seattle | 98103 
  • Email them to at tracy.hillstrom@gmail.com.  
  • Turn them in at the Band Camp table at the Band Picnic on Aug 31th from 5:30pm-7:30 pm at RHS
  • Turn them in at the uniform fitting station at Green/Gold day on Sept 6th
