Hello Band Families!
We hope your summer is going well, and that you're as excited for the upcoming school (and band!) year as well are.
To help with the second part, our Fall Band Picnic is Thursday, September 3, from 5:30-7:30 at Ravenna Park. This is our annual kickoff the the new year, and Mr. Brown will be there to tell you all about it. Please join us!
Please bring a dish to share. Boosters will provide cups, plates, cutlery, napkins and soda
Going by last names, please bring enough for 8 - 12 people:
A – I J – R S – Z

ALSO: do you know any new incoming band students/families? Please forward this to them, and ask them to share with others! They will get info in the mail, but this will get them started.
SAVE THE DATE! The annual Fall Band Camp is the first weekend after school starts - September 11-13! This is a great way for the kids to get together and start off their year. If your student is unsure about Marching Band, this is a great way for them to explore it and meet other band students at the same time. Marching Band is voluntary, and many kids are not able to commit to the entire season, but they can still participate if they know the drill.
Stay tuned for lots more info on this - for now just mark the date and get ready!
