We Regret to Inform you....
Roosevelt Wind Ensemble families,
Seattle School District has just declared a two-hour late start, no field trips for Tuesday, February 7th.
As much as I'd like to go ahead with our participation in the festival, I cannot go against District policy, nor put families in danger on potentially icy roads during early morning hours.
Regretfully, we will NOT be participating in the 2017 UW Wind Festival.
My sincere thanks to all the parents who were prepared to support our participation through chaperoning and equipment transportation. You are the BEST!
I was so excited to present our Wind Ensemble for the first time at the UW Festival!
Be safe out there, and we'll see all you students for school at 10:45 tomorrow.
